This week’s recipe is one from Zuber’s own innkeeper Bonnie and does indeed appear in The Pocahontas Community Hospital 25 Years of Caring 1967 – 1992 cookbook! 

Bonnie’s Taco Plate

2 cans refried beans
1 sm. ctn. sour cream
1 pkg. dry taco seasoning
2 green onions, chopped
Lettuce, shredded
Tomatoes, chopped
Cheddar cheese, grated
Black olives, sliced
Taco chips

Mix beans, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread onto a flat plate. Top with green onion, lettuce, tomatoes and olives. Chill until party time. Serve with taco or corn chips.
