This dressing will keep several days in the refrigerator so can be made ahead.

Ronneburg’s Basic Sour Cream Dressing

3 tablespoons salad dressing
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
4-5 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup buttermilk
⅓ teaspoon celery salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sour cream

Combine all the ingredients and beat well. This may be kept for several days if it is refrigerated.

Makes about 2 cups.
