Recipe: Mandel Kecks (Almond Cookies)

This week’s recipe is for a yummy almond cookie –

Mandel Kecks (Almond Cookies)

6 egg yolks
1 ⅛ cup sugar
½ lb. finely ground almonds
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

Beat egg yolks; add sugar and almonds and blend well. Add flour, sifted with baking powder. Roll out on lightly floured board and cut with cookie cutter into desired shapes. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake in 325 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
