We wanted to inform you about an important change to the Colonies in Bloom event that we included in our last newsletter.
The event had been scheduled to be a two-part event happening on June 3rd and July 22nd. However, due to the weather that we’ve been having here lately, area gardens aren’t going to be ready to view by that June date.
Instead, all garden tours will now be held on July 22nd only.
Plan to visit that day to take a self-guided tour through the very best yards and gardens. The event caps off with a free garden party at the Amana Heritage Museum that includes drinks, dinner, live music, and yard games!
If you’ve been eager to make a visit to the Amana Colonies and are interested in plants, why not check out this alternative event happening on May 18? Four Winds Farm Apothecary will be holding a Free Community Plant Exchange.

Additionally, Ackerman Winery is holding a succulent arranging class on June 4!
