#2 – The Major Leaguer displays the sign that greeted visitors from around the country when the building housed Zuber’s Dugout, formerly owned by the late Bill Zuber, a retired major league baseball player. Our Iowa connection in this room is of course, the “nation’s pasttime” – baseball and Bill Zuber. While staying in The Major Leaguer you can remember baseball games you’ve been to, plan a trip to a baseball game, as you enjoy the pictures of baseball friends of Bill Zuber which hang in this room.  Look for the book about Bill Zuber kept in our Wagon Wheel Room to learn more about his life and careers.
