ZUBER’S HOMESTEAD HOTEL
FROM $145/NIGHT*
#12 – The Iron Horse room honors the railroad industry that helped to bring change to our whole country. The Homestead Hotel, as we were once called, was built as a result of the increase in rail travel by salesmen and others. The Iron Horse room is decorated with blue pinstripes to remind you of the engineers cap. We are proud for you to see the hand made wooden six foot long train which captivates your attention on one wall. We’ve also placed many books and other items to help you remember and consider the importance of train travel in Iowa’s history. During the day and even at night, you’ll be treated to the whistle of a train as it approaches the crossing just one half block from the hotel.
*All prices are based on two adults. See our hotel policies page for full details on rates, check in/out times, cancellation information, etc.
