Just a quick note to share new growth on the vine!

When I began to poke around under the large leaves, I discovered that we either have fancy pumpkins or gourds.  The leaves and flowers remind me of the those shown in the children’s book Pumpkin, Pumpkin.  But as I have never grown pumpkins, and these have the green stripes, I am anxious to see what they will grow to be!   So sorry if this is painfully obvious to some of you – I am enjoying watching them grow and waiting to see what they turn into as they get larger!
