During Girls Get Away Weekend, we will be hosting another Tea and Tales event.  New with this tea is the opportunity to purchase a “Tea Hat”.  You can wear it as is or bring something(s) to personalize it with.

Teas began as a private social gathering for ladies.  In the beginning, tea was taken in the bed chamber of the hostess.  Over the years it grew into a social event where ladies dressed in their best dresses with gloves and a hat.  While we no longer “dress” for taking tea, I thought it would be fun to get to wear a special ‘tea hat’.    Below are pictures of the tea hat available for purchase, and then some options of ways I found to personalize my hat.  I like being able to change the decorations for the seasons or event!
