March 3, 2024 | Recipes

3 to 4 lbs. ribs, cut in pieces
1 lemon
1 lg. onion
1 c. catsup
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 c. water

Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. On each piece place a slice of onion, a slice of unpeeled lemon. Roast in hot oven (450 degrees) 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in moderate oven (350 degrees) until tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. Add water if needed. Serves 4.
