1 c. oleo
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 sp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oatmeal
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. butter
1/2 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
Combine the first 8 ingredients and set aside. Put the remaining ingredients in a double boiler and melt. Spread 2/3 of oatmeal mixture in greased 15×10-inch pan. Cover with chocolate mixture. Dot with remaining oatmeal. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
