You’ll need an angel food cake pan for this yummy treat!
Fluff Cake
9 eggs, separated
1 ¾ cups sugar
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 cup sifted cake flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 325°.
Beat egg whites until foamy; then fold in 1 cup sugar and salt and continue beating until stiff. Fold in cake flour. Next add ¾ cup sugar to egg yolks and beat until thick and lemon colored. Add egg yolk mixture to egg white mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in an ungreased angel food cake pan (10-inch tube pan) for 1 hour. Invert pan to remove cake. Allow to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
