As the name implies, this recipe makes a moist cake that’s excellent served warm with ice cream!
Recipe: Moist Dessert Cake
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
¼ tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
2 c. fruit cocktail, drained
½ c. nuts ½ c. brown sugar
Mix all ingredients together, except nuts and brown sugar. Pour into an 8×8-inch (ungreased) cake pan. Top with nuts and brown sugar mixed together. Bake 50 to 60 minutes in a 300° oven. Excellent served warm with ice cream.
