Swedish Apple Pie

3 to 4 c. sliced apples
3 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ c. chopped nuts
Butter a 10-inch pie plate. Peel and slice 3 to 4 cups apples. Sprinkle with 3 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Cream together ¾ cup oleo, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder and nuts. Drop by tablespoons on top of apples. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
