Are you looking for something to do this weekend – August 23 – 25?  Do you appreciate things made from wood and the skill it takes to create those items?  This weekend is a wonderful time to see a variety of wood creations.  We have been going to Woodfest for the last 7 years and ALWAYS find something we ‘need’ and so go home with a new wooden treasure!  Even if you don’t purchase anything, just walking through the building and looking at the outdoor displays lets you see the range of talent these woodworkers have!

Woodfest is located in the RV park in Middle Amana.  The hours are:  Friday 11:00 – 5:00, Saturday 10:00 – 5:00, and Sunday 10:00 – 4:00.  I believe that there is not charge this year.  IF there is a charge is it usually $1.00.  WELL worth the money!  Parking is available on site.
